Foligno Trasciatti in history: she will be part of the first all-female trio in Serie A
Descriptive text here

Tiziana Trasciatti enters the history of Italian football. On the 34th day of the Serie A championship, the assistant from Foligno will be part of the refereeing team for Inter-Turin. It is the first time that in the top football league a match will be refereed by an all-female team. The linesman Tiziana Trasciatti was designated by Aia together with the referee Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi and the other assistant, Francesca Di Monte. As mentioned, it is the first time that three women will referee a Serie A match at the same time. The previous ones, up to now, only concerned the Italian Cup and Serie B. For the assistant from Foligno, this is an important recognition, also by virtue of the excellent career so far. During her experience as an Aia member, Tiziana Trasciatti has already in the past been part of the refereeing trios who directed matches in Serie B and, as regards women’s football, also in the Champions League. Still on the international field, for the assistant born in the shadow of Torrino, worth mentioning – among others – are the experiences in matches involving women’s national football teams, such as the qualifiers for the 2025 European Championships. In Serie A, the Foligno player made her debut in 2023 in Fiorentina-Salernitana.
