MODENA-SUDTIROL MATCH, THE ROAD CHANGES IN THE STADIUM AREA

“On the occasion of the Modena-Sudtirol football match, scheduled for Saturday 27 April at 2pm at the “Alberto Braglia” stadium, some restrictions will be put in place on circulation and parking. And for those who choose to reach the stadium by bicycle, there is a free, supervised storage service located next to the Braglia as part of the “Cycling to the stadium” project.

In particular, from 7am on Saturday morning parking will be prohibited in Piazza Tien An Men, in Viale Monte Kosica and Viale Montecuccoli. The same square, viale Monte Kosica, in the stretch from via Fontanelli to piazzale Tien An Men, viale Montecuccoli and via Fontanelli, will be progressively closed to transit starting from 9am.

Given the forecast of high public turnout, for those traveling from north to south of Modena it is recommended to transit on the via Ciro Menotti flyover, if heading towards central areas, or on the ring road if heading towards more peripheral areas.

Furthermore, starting from Friday 26 April from 11am in Tien An Men square, parking will be prohibited in a portion of the square, which will be reserved for the positioning of bulky vehicles for filming of television stations and the apparatus used for the VAR.

Also for the Modena-Sudtirol match, the guarded space made available to the yellow and blue fans will be active to facilitate access by bike to the stadium area during the time slots linked to the football matches. The depot located under the grandstand of the overlooking Novi Sad park can safely accommodate over a hundred vehicles and is open from one hour before the match to half an hour after the end of the match.

The storage and control service is managed by the volunteers of the Ciclofficina popular association – Rimessa in motion with the support of the young people involved in the “Antenne” project, i.e. the young people who carry out voluntary activities in the area with the possibility of staying with a subsidized rent in some apartments made available by the Administration in the R-North complex. “By bike at the stadium” is part of the actions promoted by the Municipality to encourage sustainable travel, discouraging the use of the car especially when it comes to short journeys, and is developed in collaboration with Modena Fc and Ciclofficina popular”.
