Road accident on the evening of Thursday 25 April in via Einaudi, where a car lost control while negotiating the curve while traveling in the direction of Sant’Antonio. Around 9.30 pm the car, after knocking down a lamppost and a sign, ended its run across the opposite roadway, ending up overturned off the road. Only by a miracle were no other cars arriving from the opposite side at that moment.
On board the car, a Fiat Punto, there were two men, a 9-month-old child, a 7-year-old and a 16-year-old. They all ended up in hospital, but no one was in danger.
The 118 ambulance squad and two Red Cross ambulances from Piacenza and San Nicolò intervened on site together with the Piacenza firefighters. A Sicuritalia Ivri patrol also stopped to provide help immediately after the accident.
The causes and precise dynamics are being examined by the local police officers who intervened on site to carry out the investigations. The firefighters also took care of making the public lighting lamp safe.
