A donation of 1,515 euros for Baskin. This is the result of the fundraising carried out by Vismederi Costone Siena on the occasion of the first two matches of the play-off semi-finals. “The people of the Costone did their utmost in a real show of solidarity – they write from the company -. For years now, Baskin has represented one of the flagships of the yellow-green world, one of the best examples of social integration in sport”. In fact, the yellow-green club had announced in recent days that there would not be a ticket to pay for the matches against Agliana, but that instead spectators would be able to freely decide whether to participate in the fundraiser in favor of the Baskin section.
“Tonight was an evening of great celebration and great basketball.” The speaker was Andrea Naldini, General Director of Costone, who personally delivered the proceeds of the collection to Laura Corbini, manager of Baskin, during the break. Naldini explained: “We wanted to celebrate our Baskin, a very important branch of our company. I must say thank you on behalf of the club to all the kids, the instructors and to those who work daily for this section. We are delighted with what the Costone and its people have achieved in these two evenings. I am sure that many others will follow our example, and that other sports clubs will also try to involve the social world in sport.”
