THE COMMITMENTS TO TRIAL

Bassati Kamagate, 20 years old, originally from the Ivory Coast and resident in Pordenone, could also have reached a plea deal. # A few weeks ago, however, it is escaped from house arrest. He has not yet been found and yesterday his absence prevented the lawyer Nisco Bernardi from accessing alternative rites. # He was sent to trial. # The trial will begin on July 12th. # Same path for Richmond Bohaene, a 22 year old Ghanaian, defended by the lawyer Danilo De Vito.

THE COMPLAINTS

The defendants were called to respond, for various reasons, to around fifteen charges. # To contain the #gang, the Carabinieri of the Pordenone Company and the State Police took to the field. # There are four aggravated robberies disputed. # The first dates back to February 23, when an immigrant had his Apple earphones stolen in Piazza Cavour: he was approached with a “right, brother” and surrounded, he was hit with a violent slap. # The second robbery dates back to April 1st, in via #Mazzini, when a young man was chased, surrounded and robbed of an iPhone and a wallet with 30 euros inside. # On April 26, for a pack of cigarettes, they beat up a young immigrant in #Via #Mazzini, breaking his hands (30 days prognosis). # Finally, the fourth robbery took place on March 27, at a mini market where they took bottles of beer and threatened the owner with death, having been challenged with one of the bottles. # An extortion incident against the boy whose earphones had been stolen dates back to April 1st: “If you want them back, bring 30 euros back tomorrow.” # One of the places most frequented by the #gang was the Pam supermarket in Corso Garibaldi, where they stole various drinks from the shelves, including beers. # There are three theft reports presented by the manager of the commercial activity. # The hateful episode of February 23rd outside the Sushi restaurant in via Beato Odorico, where the #gang attempted to snatch the bag from a customer who was chatting near the entrance with some friends. # They yanked the strap of her bag so hard that she bruised her elbow. # Another theft was committed on April 21st in the telephone shop in via #Mazzini. # Finally, there is a charge for a #beating on March 27 (7 days of prognosis for a punch in the face).
