The body of water in front of the Hang Loose Beach establishment, in the Pesci e Anguille area of Gizzeria, is from today the stage for the #Italian #Cup Trophy, an exciting wingfoil competition running until April 28th.
The start of the races was characterized by #adverse #weather #conditions and rough seas which made entering and exiting the water complicated. # Despite the erratic wind, which rose from an initial 25 knots to 12 knots, the 21 participating athletes demonstrated their skill and determination by challenging themselves in 6 trials that lasted until late afternoon.

Tomorrow, Friday 26th, we continue with the competitive races, on Saturday the #Italian #Cup Trophy races will be accompanied by competitions dedicated to amateurs, while on Sunday recreational activities and amateur competitions are planned for enthusiasts and beginners.
Furthermore, until April 28th a village has been set up in the spaces of Hang Loose Beach which offers the public the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of wingfoil through an exhibition of the main companies in the field of water board sports. # From the latest models of equipment to technological innovations, passing through the practical demonstrations held by professionals in the sector, the village will be the beating heart of this extraordinary event.
The #Italian Wingfoil #Cup Trophy – organized by the Hang Loose Sailing Club with CKWI (Italian Kiteboarding and Wingfoil Class) and FIV (Italian Sailing Federation) – is an unmissable event for lovers of water sports, adventure enthusiasts and all those who wish to experience a unique experience in the splendid setting of Calabria.
