“Why is a structure demolished first and then a feasibility study is entrusted that could reveal significant problems?” This is the question that Lega group leader Maurizio Scaramuzza poses to the administration with a question on the skate park that will be built at the former municipal swimming pool in via Trento e Trieste.

The swimming pool had been closed by the previous administration due to structural problems, but with the intention of reopening it.

“The resources currently committed to the feasibility study – writes Scaramuzza – and consequent project, relating to the creation of a skatepark on the site of the ‘old swimming pool’ in Piazza Eroe dei Due Mondi, had been awarded by the previous administration thanks to a tender from the Pnrr and that together with these resources, aimed specifically at the reopening of the swimming pool, there were the resources for the recovery of the Palazzo della Rovere and the San Giacomo complex. Savona has a particular sporting vocation towards swimming sports and the need to have has emerged several times more water spaces to dedicate to competition”.

“Despite the path started by the previous administration – continues Scaramuzza – the swimming pool structure is in the process of being completely demolished and we see, however, in parallel, that we are still in a feasibility study phase regarding the skatepark. Specifically, not only the current administration requests cost evaluation, but also to identify any constraints and requirements that could compromise the construction of the aforementioned skatepark”.

Scaramuzza then asks the administration the reasons for the choices “of the unconventional timing – he concludes – for which first a structure is demolished and then a feasibility study is entrusted which could reveal significant problems on a project far from the executive phase”.
