L’Handball Club Monteprandone interrupts the streak of four consecutive defeats and regains the palas in via Colle Gioioso. In front of their fans the greens beat Prato 33-30, achieving the first success of the playoff pool.
Close match in the first half. Also on the field, for the second time in a row, is Tritto, born in 2007, who will figure. Nervous atmosphere due to some waste from the first leg: behavior at the limits of the rules, often provocative, for the guests. In the second half, however, the HC proved to be clearly superior and the 19-20 with which they went to half-time became 33-30 in the final (but in some moments the Greens even reached +6). Coach Vultaggio, thanks also to Mucci’s saves, gives space to those who usually play less. Mirko Salladini and Vagnoni performed well in 2007.
The championship is now paused: we return to the pitch on May 18th (at 5.30pm) and Monteprandone remains at Colle Gioioso to challenge vice-leaders Belluno.
