Great success with the public for author’s music Saturday 20 April in the suggestive location of New Theater of Velletri, where the highly anticipated concert of the well-known Veliterna band was held Asia Live, aided by the extraordinary presence of the great Danilo Saccohistorical voice of Nomads for twenty years and successor to the founder Augusto Daoliocertainly one of the best known and most appreciated Italian male voices.
Spectators from many Italian cities were present, including from Sicily, Calabria, Marche, Campania, Abruzzo, as well as from many places in the province of Rome and Frosinone. There had been much talk about this event in the previous days and there was a lot of anticipation in the air: the combination of Asia Live and Danilo Sacco certainly aroused curiosity.
And finally, on stage the magic of the immortal songs of the Nomadi, masterfully interpreted, played and sung by the Veliterna band, inflamed the audience who did not hesitate to sing along with them historical and evergreen songs such as I want to live, Senza Patria, Un giorno together and the inevitable I wander. And in the middle, the voice, the history, the skill, the talent of Danilo Sacco, an always exciting voice that has brought indelible memories, emotions and nostalgia into the hearts of those who have even only partially experienced the sixty years of Nomadi’s music.
During the concert, there was also no shortage of references to issues dear to the historic Novellara group, and unfortunately very current, such as the repulsion to all wars and all forms of social discrimination, the difficult situation of precarious and underpaid work which is still rooted in our country, to the point of condemning all violence against women. Andrea, Paolo, Diego, Matteo and Luigi, the esteemed musicians who form the Asia Live group have once again provided great proof of their skill, bearers of a musical project which over the years has led the Veliterna band to reach high levels levels of notoriety with several live concerts in the squares of Central Italy.
Finally, the entire management of the Teatro Nuovo in Velletri is worthy of mention, for the perfect logistical organization of the event. At the end, a general ovation greeted the magnificent performers of this concert.
