Another worrying episode in the Teramo prison, which this time has a North African inmate as its protagonist. Sinappe reported the news.
“The police officers present intervened trying to reassure him and inviting him to respect others. At that point, he pulled a razor blade from his mouth to hit the policemen who came to defend the doctor but fortunately he was unable to carry out his intentions. The inmate, now blocked, continued to verbally abuse her bosses present, threatening them. With great difficulty he managed to bring the situation back to normal. However, the Surveillance inspector, in containing the troublemaker, reported an initial prognosis of 7 days”.
The provincial secretariat of the Si.NAPPe of Teramo underlines: “Once again the prisoners show a spirit of oppression towards the institutions, attempting to take over the prisons and claiming to dictate rules in the belief that their every gesture goes unpunished and is devoid of any consequence , demonstrating the broadest resistance to re-education. We express our solidarity with both the prison and healthcare staff involved.”
