No Fake in Italy, in defense of Italian food Coldiretti in Sorrento and Castellammare di Stabia, in the name of the activities promoted by Coldiretti Campania. Many fun and educational opportunities are arriving for the little ones, together with 0 km products and excellent tastings for all age groups, thanks to the Campagna Amica market. This and much more is the Coldiretti Village: for three days, from today to Saturday from 9am to 11pm, “Spring in Castellammare” in the area of ​​the municipal villa and next week we go to Sorrento with the same format. The official inauguration is scheduled for today at 1pm in the presence of the members of the extraordinary commission of the Municipality of Castellammare. Different areas where you can stop: the little ones will be welcomed by the Agrikindergarten and the educational farm with many animals. They will be involved in numerous activities to learn about the value of the land and biodiversity, as well as tasting the food “made in Campania”.
An event, therefore, designed to enhance the territory and its products which will find its maximum expression in the dedicated spaces on the Stabia seafront. The initiative is promoted by Coldiretti Campania in synergy with the Campania and Molise Breeders Association and the Municipality of Castellammare di Stabia. An important role is also played by the Monti Lattari Onlus Foundation of the lawyer Mariella Verdoliva. Educational workshops and focuses on zero kilometer agri-food products will capture the attention of enthusiasts and the curious, as already happened in December in Naples in Piazza Municipio.
«After the success of the Village hosted in the Neapolitan capital last December, the time has come to bring some of the main attractions to other places in the province. Many products come from the area between Castellammare di Stabia and Sorrento, which have always been tourist attractors both for the beauty of the places and for the goodness of the agri-food excellence”, comment the director of Coldiretti Campania, Salvatore Loffreda and the president of Coldiretti Napoli, Valentina Stinga.
An eagerly awaited event that will be repeated from 3 to 5 May in Sorrento, in Piazza Angelina Lauro. A relay to make the value of local products, grown in accordance with seasonality, known to an increasingly wider audience: there will also be the possibility of shopping at the stands of the “Campagna Amica” market.
In the Coldiretti Villages you can also sign the “No fake in Italy” petition, in defense of Italian food. A petition aimed at requesting a European measure to stop the imports of foods disguised as Italian, after the Brenner demonstrations which revealed the origin of some products that are passed off as Italian through a practice defined as “Italian washing”.
