The Local Police flag was raised on Tuesday afternoon on the ring road in Brescia: the final act of a long period of close observation of the young mother and the 44-year-old man who was with her. The officers had long suspected that the woman and the 44-year-old were part of a drug dealing ring: they had seen them move several times from the city apartment of a man with a specific drug record and the house, located in the Bergamo area, of a well-known supplier.
Then the raid began while they were traveling by car on the ring road. The woman who was behind the wheel apparently made a move that made the officers suspicious: she reached the seat in which her 4-year-old son was sitting and put his hands in the pockets of her jacket. The reason for the gesture was clarified shortly afterwards, when a piece of heroin (8 grams in total) appeared which her mother had tried to hide by hiding it on the child.
Then the search began: another 4 grams of heroin were found, which the 44-year-old apparently tried to throw in the sight of the officers, and a gram of cocaine. Both were put in handcuffs. During the direct trial, the judge ordered the mother to sign and the 44-year-old to remain banned.
