In recent days, i Carabinieri of the Catona stationduring a territorial control service aimed at preventing and repressing drug-related crimes, have arrested in flagrante delicto an Italian citizen accused of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances.
In particular, the soldiers of the Carabinieri, during a normal patrol service, noticed the man near his home located near the Catona seafront, carrying out sales of narcotic substances in favor of various peopleand then return to their apartment.
Given this evidence, the military decided to access the interior and, once inside, they found the presence of a 26 year old in possession of marijuana, hashish and cocaine, as well as several thousand euros in proceeds from illicit activities and several precision scales with attached material for packaging the narcotic. Furthermore, during the check, the carabinieri found in the vicinity of the house rifle cartridges cal. 12.
The drugs found, the money and the remaining material were seized, while the young man, once declared under arrest, was locked up in the G. Panzera district house – Arghillà complex.
Since this is a provision in the preliminary investigation phase, subsequent evaluations during the trial remain unaffected.
