There Liberation Day does not stop the race for acquisitions in the main supermarkets in Veneto. If schools and offices are closed, many supermarkets in the Region instead make an extraordinary opening to allow citizens to shop on this day too. Confirming the opening are, among others, Bennet, Conad and Esselunga.

long S – The Esselunga shops have extraordinary openings for Thursday 25 April: you can check the opening times on the website by searching by point of sale
Aldi – The stores are open. However, it is advisable to call the individual point of sale for updated opening times
Bucketst – Extraordinary opening for all Bennet stores in the Veneto region on the occasion of the 25th April holiday, according to holiday opening hours, therefore with regular opening hours 9am-8pm
Carrefour – In many cases the supermarkets of this chain will remain open all day. However, the opening hours vary in each store and therefore it is advisable to check the opening hours of the nearest store
Coop – The stores in the Region will be closed, both on April 25th and May 1st. The supermarkets and hypercoops of Coop Alleanza 3.0 in Feltre, Padua and its province, Rovigo and its province, Treviso and its province, Venice and its province, Vicenza and its province will therefore be “closed by choice”.
Conad – Conad supermarkets are all open on April 25th (7am-9pm). To be sure, check your point of sale on the site
Despar – Many stores will be open. We recommend finding the complete list under “Extraordinary openings 2023-2024” on the company website
Eurospin –Eurospin will generally be open on April 25th, although with opening hours that may be different. We recommend calling the individual point of sale
Family – Extraordinary openings of Famila stores are planned in Vicenza, Venice, Padua, Treviso, Rovigo and Belluno
Hyper – Only two locations in Veneto. In Castelfranco Veneto (Treviso) and in Verona the sales points will be open at Easter.
Lidl – Points of sale will be open
Md– Many sales points will be open, but it is advisable to consult the opening hours on the Catana website
