PESCARA – The participation of the Abruzzo Region in the Leisure Fair, scheduled in Bolzano from tomorrow, 25 April, until Sunday 28, will present the opportunities that the territory offers to better enjoy free time and active holidays.
The Region, in collaboration with the Abruzzo chambers, has set up a 37 square meter exhibition space to present itself and make itself known to the trade fair public as a tourist destination to be enjoyed all year round.
“The participation of Abruzzo in Bolzano – underlines the undersecretary with responsibility for Tourism, Daniele D’Amario – should be read from the perspective of presenting to tour operators the strong potential of a territory that is able to position itself as a tourist destination to be experienced all year round. From the sea to the mountains, from villages to cultural destinations, the regional territory with its services is able to successfully intercept the tourist offer linked to free time”.
“After last year’s positive debut – continues D’Amario – we decided to repeat the Bolzano experience also due to the request we received from Abruzzo operators who found in the Bolzano event the possibility of increasing the incoming across the entire tourist offer”.
The event in the South Tyrolean capital attracts over 43,000 visitors and over 300 exhibitors of typical products, recreational vehicles, sports products and clothing, tourist magazines and many other products.
The Leisure Fair is divided into the following sectors: Holidays, with destinations in Italy and abroad (Abruzzo will be present in this area), Camping & Caravan, Sport & Fitness, Garden & Home, Cars, bike & mobility , Lifestyle and Saporita, made up of stands with gastronomic specialties from all the regions of Italy.
For Abruzzo the tourist operators will be present: Grotte di Stiffe, Hotel Costa Verde di Gulianova, Consorzio Abruzzo Promotion – Abruzzo Camping, which is a consortium created to enhance and improve the tourist offer en plein air, carries out its main activities in in favor of campsites and tourist villages in Abruzzo and the Martinsicuro Tourist Operators Association.
