The Quiliano sports hall hosted the third edition of the Sharin Cup of judo, a prestigious event organized bySharin Judo Amateur Sports Associationwith the support of Infineum SPA and under the patronage of Ligurian FIJLKAM Committee.
During the morning, the athletes of the Judo Sanremo Kumiai they demonstrated remarkable mastery. Elisa Bottero excelled in the ES B category 2010/2011 (-44 kg), winning gold with a series of impressive victories. Daniele Capello he equaled this success in the 2012 ES A category (-55 kg), dominating the fights. Andrea Angelillodespite making his debut in this competition, showed great fighting spirit, finishing fifth.
The afternoon saw the entry into the scene of the non-competitive categories, where i 31 athletes of the Judo Sanremo Kumiai, among children and young people, have achieved numerous successes. In the Boys, Saimon Semanjaku, Valerio El Jazzar, Matteo Pizzocchia and Diego Maiano achieved gold, while Alessandro Caridi, Arianna Colucci, Francesco Fiumara and Nicolò Prevosto achieved bronze.
In the Fanciulli, Tommaso Aimar, Daniel De Lisi, Alessandro Libonati and Giovanni Pirri won gold. Alessia Angelillo, Leonardo Giampaolo, Alessandro Lissi, Achille Massimino Ozenda, Francesco Pati, Francesco Sagazio and Filippo Scalzo took silver, with Vittoria Buono and Niccolò Ventimiglia taking bronze.
Among the youngest, in the Children category, Leonardo Benza and Filippo Buono obtained gold, while Noemi Macrì, Samuel Montaldo, Elena Cai, Camilla Flore, Virginia Benza, Alex Perekokin and Celeste Sagazio took home silver and bronze.
These exceptional results have ensured Judo Sanremo Kumiai the second place in the general ranking by clubconfirming the quality and dedication of the club and its athletes.
