It has been approved by the municipal administration of Sanremo, the program of sporting events which will take place from April to December this year.
The program was prepared by the Department of Tourism and Events and, obviously, these are sporting events that will be organized by local sports clubs, to which 159 thousand euros of contributions from Palazzo Bellevue.
The first appointment is on ‘Sanremo Gym Festival’, which will take place next weekend, with a contribution of 5,000 euros. So it will be up to the ‘Ior and Rorc Meeting’ by Velaorganized by the Yacht Club for a contribution of 75 thousand euros and which will take place from 17 to 19 May.
On the same weekend there will be the ‘National Beach Volleyball Festival’ who will receive a contribution of 5,000 euros. On June 9th it will be the turn of the ‘Milan-Sanremo’ cycle touring race with a contribution of 2,000 euros while, from the 13th to the 16th at Solaro, the CSI international equestrian competition (5,000 euros). June 15th ‘Run for the Whales’ (2,500 euros) and from 17th to 22nd ‘Sailing Tour of Italy’ (no contribution). New from 20th to 23rd June equestrian competition at Solaro (5,000 euros).
In July we start on the 6th, with the cycling ‘Franco Botti Memorial’ (1,450 euros). From the 12th to the 14th sailing returns with the ‘Circuito del Mediterraneo’ of the Sanremo Yacht Club (without contributions). On July 13th it will be the turn of the Transalp ‘La via del Sale’ (500 euros) and the day after the ‘Hard Alp Tour Pavia-Sanremo. On 20 and 21 July basketball with the MSB 24h ‘Tre Ponti’ (2,500 euros).
In August the ‘Voleè Cup’ at Tennis Solaro (from 24th to 1st September for 2,500 euros in contributions. From 5th to 7th September the ‘Hard Alp Sanremo-Sestrieres’ (5,000 euros) and, from 20th to 22nd the ‘Challenge’ of triathlon (9,500 euros). On the 28th and 29th the rowing ‘Presidents’ Trophy’ (4,250 euros) and on the 28th and 29th (but also on two other weekends in October) the ‘Sanremo Volley Cup Tessitore’ for 7,000 euros in contributions .
From 25 to 27 October sailing returns with the ‘Trophee Grimaldi) and, in the same weekend, an Italian Enduro championship race (20 thousand euros in contributions). On 30 November and 1 December the ‘Sanremo Marathon 2024’ (7,000 euros) and, finally, without contributions from 6 to 8 December a regatta of the ‘International Mediterranean Meeting’.
In July we start on the 6th, with the ‘Franco Botti Memorial’ of cycling (1,450 euros). From the 12th to the 14th sailing returns with the ‘Mediterranean Circuit’ of the Sanremo Yacht Club (without contributions).
