From the controversy over the failure to air the Scurati’s monologue everything happened, from wanting to save the few euros agreed upon to fascist censorship (Why not Russian, or Chinese, or some other hundred states that practice it?).
Nobody said one thing: the monologue is really bad, actually, horrible. A vocal Taze-bao full of clichés, hackneyed platitudes that everyone has known since first grade and which everyone, right and left, agrees on; finally a gratuitous and vulgar attack on the government that does nothing it has to do with Ardeatine pits, tortured corpses and doubled over, decapitation of children and other atrocities.
And it’s strange, because Scurati is a good writer and «M» (Editor’s note – the title of his free) may not be a masterpiece of the century like the man he describes in the book, but it is still interesting. The partisans, who we remember from every political and military sphere, including monarchy and fascismit wasn’t just the red handkerchiefs that left-wing rhetoric claimed.

It’s true, the Resistance he attempted courageously and at times ruthlessly to make life difficult for the Germansmostly SS, who in their ideology lent to the myth of the Nordic Gods inculcated by Nazi propaganda, also believed themselves to be demigods.
