He dies alone in the abandoned hovel in Latina: the body of a lifeless man was found in a former restaurant located in Borgo Piave
A lifeless man in his forties who was living homeless in an abandoned building, once used as a restaurant business, was found last night in Borgo Piave, on Strada Acque Alte. Other homeless people raised the alarm, after which the State Police intervened with the Flying Squad.
The man was practically frozen to death and his identity will have to be reconstructed by forensic specialists. According to what transpires from the stories of the other homeless people who hang out in the former abandoned place, the man died two days ago when they realized that he was no longer breathing. Thanks to the anomalous cold of these days and the deteriorating living conditions, the man died.
There were no documents on him, even though the man should be of Indian nationality, like the other homeless people in the area. His body was transferred to the morgue, awaiting medical-legal investigations which will be arranged by the Latina Prosecutor’s Office.
