(Adnkronos) – No resetting of the council in the Puglia Region. After the judicial storm, governor Michele Emiliano opts for a mini reshuffle with the appointment of three new councilors: Serena Triggiani, Viviana Matrangola and Debora Ciliento.

In the afternoon, Rocco Palese, technical councilor for health, external to the parties (also already a historical exponent of Forza Italia and Popolo della Libertà), resigned. For the moment the delegation is maintained by President Emiliano. The new councilor Serena Triggiani has the delegation for the Environment and the Waste cycle, a position that has so far been held by Anna Grazia Maraschio, close to the Italian Left (despite this party having no representatives in the Council).

The new culture councilor is Viviana Matrangola. Until now, the delegation to culture had not been held by a councilor but by a Five Star councilor, Grazia Di Bari. It is one of the positions that the Five Star Movement renounced after the investigations. The other delegation they have given up is that of Welfare. Debora Ciliento, regional councilor of the Democratic Party, is the new councilor with responsibility for Transport and Sustainable Mobility. She takes over from Anita Maurodinoia, a Dud exponent at the Centre, elected in 2020 with the Democratic Party, investigated in one of the Bari investigations in which her husband Sandro Cataldo was arrested for allegedly exchanging votes.
