In this month of April, Piloti Sipontini in collaboration with Ailine Corse is busy on various race fields.
Next weekend we will be at the start of the 3rd “Costa del Gargano” Rally, valid as a zone 8 Italian rally cup, which will cross the municipalities of Manfredonia, Monte Sant’Angelo and Mattinata.
Our crews at the start will be:
the president Meo Solitro navigated by Rosario Navarra on the Renault Clio Rally4 of Ailine Corse, assisted by the Lion Team;
Luigi Troia paired with Marco Darcavio on the Peugeot 208 R2B of Trodella Racing; Ivan Schinosi with Alessandro Mazzocchi on Peugeot 208 R2B of Trodella Racing; Dello Russo Giovanni with Broccoli Alex on Ford Fiesta R2B of Scuderia Messere; Quinto Gaetano with Michele D’errico on the Peugeot 206RC A7 of Scuderia Messere; Stilla Pasquale and Matteo in their Renault Clio N3, managed by Laudati Corse.
The race will begin on Saturday 27th with the technical and sporting checks, followed by the shakedown, from 10am to 2pm.
At 5.30pm from the tourist port of Manfredonia, the competition starts; the service park is located in the Gargano shopping center.
There will be ten special stages in total: the Macchia-Monte Sant’Angelo, to be repeated twice on Saturday evening at 6.22pm and 8.27pm. The other eight special stages will take place on Sunday, the Mattinata test to be repeated three times with passages of the first car set at 10.04, 14.17 and 17.10, the PS “Monte Sant’Angelo”, at 10.20, 14.33 and 17.26 and two PS ” Carbonara” at 10.48am and 3.01pm.
From 6.18pm at the “Marina del Gargano” tourist port in Manfredonia there will be the arrival and awards ceremony of the race.
The 1st “Valle Arroscia” Rally will take place on the same weekend, where Mauro Alberti navigated by Arianna Genaro will be at the start with the Ailine Corse Toyota Yaris R1T 4×4. The race: two stages, six special tests on three sections, “Aquila d’Arroscia” of km. 6.11, “Mendatica” of km. 14.6 and “Rezzo” of km. 9.00, to be done twice. The departure will be at 5.20pm on Saturday 27 April from Corso Mario Ponzoni in Pieve di Teco, also home to the arrival.
Last weekend, our standard bearers, Mauro Alberti and Arianna Genaro, were competing in the 38th Rally Prealpi Orobiche, where they finished the race second in the A7 class, on the ever green Renault Clio Williams of Graziano Taglienti, taking further points for the 3rd Zone Italian Cup!
