TORCHIAROLO – The 36-year-old arrested by the police at the Torchiarolo station appeared before the investigating judge yesterday morning (Tuesday 23 April 2024) after being found in possession of almost two kilos of cocaine. The flagrant arrest dates back to Saturday 20 April. The investigating judge of the Brindisi court confirmed the custodial measure: the man will have to remain in prison.
Daniel Tafuro – this is the name of the suspect – is defended by the lawyer Andrea Capone. The 36-year-old, during the validation interrogation, made use of the right not to answer, but still made spontaneous statements. He confirmed the charges, further explaining that he was going through a particularly delicate moment from a personal point of view.
The man was stopped by the police while he was on foot, near an abandoned area. The soldiers, suspicious, searched him and found 430 grams of cocaine, divided into four wrappers. At that point they proceeded with further investigation. A house search and checks at another place pertaining to him made it possible to find, in the end, almost two kilos of “white”.
