The Dog Festival at San Giorgio

PISTOIA – On Saturday 27 April, one day earlier than the official date of the national anniversary, the San Giorgio Library celebrates Dog Day with an afternoon dedicated to the so-called man’s best friend.

The day, organized by the Amici della San Giorgio association, takes place in the atrium of the Library and begins at 4.30pm with welcoming greetings from the director of the San Giorgio Library Maria Stella Rasetti and the president of the Friends of San Giorgio Rossella Chietti.

A veterinary intervention will follow Luca Balleri on the topic Canine ethology: affectionate and aggressive behaviors and a meeting with Lisa Pugliese of the National School for Guide Dogs for the Blind on Our eyes are 4 legs: Elsa’s story.

During the afternoon some readings will take place by Caterina Brancatisano And Marisa Schiano.

The Rifugio del Cane ENPA Pistoia, Associazione Diversi Cuccioli di Quarrata and Fody Fabrics will be present with the distribution of information materials.

All those attending will be offered some gifts.
