In Cittadella the signing of the permanent contract of the temporary workers of the “interns/scholarship holders” pool. A wait that lasted 15 years. The emptying of the temporary workers’ pool in the Calabria region continues.
“A positive moment for the Calabria Region and for the Labor Department. After months of discussion, we are definitively closing one of the pools, already registered in the precarious employment dossier, which is that of the massacre-scholarship holders: highly professional workers who had been on temporary contracts within the Calabria Work Company for 15 years.
A difficult journey which finally ends today and will lead us, in a few weeks from now, to the definitive establishment of the new employment agency, Arpal. We are working with great commitment to close these areas of precarious employment, which have often created so many expectations in so many people. We do not believe it is absolutely correct how we acted in the past, therefore, our objective is not to create more precarious workers within the public administration.
Today, thanks to the commitment of the entire bureaucratic apparatus of the Calabria Region and in particular of the Calabria Lavoro company commissioner, Elena Maria Latella, we are achieving this result, we are bringing peace of mind to many families and above all, there will be hundreds more workers who will have the definitive status of dependencies of the public administration. This is a very important result for the regional government presided over by President Roberto Occhiuto who had given us this task since his inauguration”. This was stated by the councilor for work and professional training Giovanni Calabrese who this morning welcomed the workers to the Cittadella who from today will be permanent employees of Azienda Calabria Lavoro.
