You will be able to enjoy this breathtaking view from a highly respectable panoramic point. Let’s talk about Poggio Scali, among the most important panoramic views of the Park.

Located along the ridge path 00, from the summit of Poggio scali the view extends over the Romagna side of the Park, the Giogana from Falterona to Verna, and over the Casentino side, closed to the south by the Pratomagno buttress. The view becomes even more beautiful in spring, when extensive clearings surrounding the hill appear purple blooms of saffron and snowdrops. Even the extensive beech forests that develop on the Tuscan-Romagna side are home to rich blooms, including those of the scilla, the spotted orchid and the Martagon lily.
