The “Dolce Vita” investigation and its effects. First of all on the competitions announced by the Municipality of Avellino and which ended up in the sights of the Avellino Prosecutor’s Office, led by Domenico Airoma. The scrolling of the ranking for the selection of D1 category technical officials for architects and engineers has been blocked. Insolvency proceedings, according to the investigators, were conditional and which led to house arrest the former municipal official Filomena Smiraglia (now banned from holding public office for a year) and the architect Fabio Guerriero (under house arrest together with the former mayor for which the review will be discussed tomorrow) and accused – for various reasons of misdirection, fraud, disturbing the freedom of auctions, forgery of public documents, revelation of official secrecy.

The reconstruction

The general secretary of the municipality of Avellino, Vincenzo Lissa, had signed a document with the signing of employment contracts with two of the technical officials, while the third had resigned from the position. Subsequently, the ranking was scrolled to replace the resigning official. Process suspended due to pending legal proceedings regarding the competition. The suspension, scheduled for six months and potentially extendable, was decreed on the basis of article 21 quater of law no. 241/90.
