The University of Pavia organizes the Makeathona contest in which university students can test themselves in imagining and proposing innovative solutions to concrete challenges on issues such as inclusion, environmental sustainability, peace and democracy.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Sign up at the link by April 28, 2024 and choose your favorite challenge!
- Take part in the preparatory workshop to get to know the other enrolled students and prepare yourself as best as possible!
HOW DOES IT WORK
Teams of 4 – 5 students will be formed based on their preferences. It is possible to choose between two types of challenges:
- local: participation in a team made up of UniPv students to test themselves with a challenge related to UniPv or the city of Pavia.
- virtual: participation in a team made up of international students to test themselves with a global challenge.
The best team will win a trip of a few days to Poitiers (France) for one person, to present their innovative idea at an international event.
WHERE IT TAKES PLACE
In Pavia, at the Technological Center for participants in local challenges.
Online, in connection with international students for participants in the virtual challenges.
WHY PARTICIPATE

- To test yourself and develop your own soft skills (team work, communication, collaboration and problem solving).
