The Municipality of Catania has started a partnership with the renowned “One Day Music” music festival, a leading event in the music scene of Southern Italy, which this year celebrates its fifteenth edition.
Giovanni Magni, president of the Seventh Commission of the City Council of Catania, expressed great satisfaction: “I am enthusiastic about the collaboration reached with the organizers of the “One Day Music” event which every year involves many young people in Catania. It is an event as well known as it is important, capable of attracting many young people from Catania and beyond, thanks to the influence of the music and the artists who decide to perform every year”.
The festival, which will be held on May 1st at the Afrobar in Catania, will begin at 10 in the morning and continue until late at night. This year too the event will see the participation of numerous international guests, further consolidating its reputation.
President Magni added: “We believed it was right that the Municipality did its part, giving prestige to an attractive and advantageous event through effective collaboration. In particular, this Commission will always show itself open to anything that, in its most disparate forms, can represent culture, in this case through and thanks to music”.
The partnership between the Municipality of Catania and One Day Music represents a significant step towards the integration of cultural activities into city life, promoting music and art as fundamental tools of social aggregation and cultural development.
