Over 50 people took part in the participatory table for the construction of itineraries and tourist products for the territory of the Municipality of Pisa, which took place in recent days at the Officine Garibaldi with the aim of involving citizens and stakeholders in the valorisation and diversification of the tourist offer of the city. The table is part of a series of events which will see tourism and the entire connected supply chain as protagonists, with a view to expanding and strengthening the tourism promotion of Pisa.
Following the approval of the management plan of the UNESCO site in Piazza del Duomo and the implementation of the consultation tables (which led to the sharing of the tourism development plan), the Municipality developed a project, called ‘Enhancement of the offer tourism of the city of Pisa’ which, thanks to the financing obtained from the Ministry of Tourism, allows us to move from the strategy outlined in the aforementioned programmatic documents to the implementation of the actions agreed upon. Trade associations, tourist operators, local associations, representatives of the educational sector and museums, students, teachers and all citizens are invited to participate in the participatory table.
