The management group and administrators of the Provincial Coordination of Fratelli d’Italia of Asti spent two days, Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 April 2024, traveling to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, guests of the MEP Carlo Fidanza. During the two days in Strasbourg, the visitors of the Asti delegation, in addition to being able to attend the work of the Plenary Assembly by listening to the speeches of deputies from all over Europe, were also able to delve deeper, during the Conference promoted by the Hon. Fidanza, the mechanisms of the European institutions and valuable information was provided to local administrators in order to be able to mobilize both ordinary resources and those envisaged by the PNRR.
“I thank the friends of Asti for their visit to Strasbourg for the last session of the legislature. It was an opportunity to take stock of these five years”declares the Head of the Fratelli d’Italia delegation to the European Parliament, Carlo Fidanza. “In these two days– continues Fidanza – the great work that Fratelli d’Italia has carried out to defend national interests, our families and our businesses was highlighted. A good part of the European elections on 8 and 9 June will be played out on fundamental issues such as the defense of citizens and our businesses from green Eurofollies and the fight against irregular immigration, which could mark a real change in Europe too, giving more strength to Italy and the Meloni government”.
Carlotta Accomasso, City Councilor of Asti and candidate for the Brothers of Italy in the next regional elections, adds: “First of all, I would like to thank the Honorable Carlo Fidanza for allowing administrators, party militants and the four students who joined the initiative to understand the mechanisms of the European Union up close. The moments of in-depth analysis on the PNRR tenders and funds were very important, especially for the administrators. And it was a source of pride for all of us to be able to see up close the great work that Carlo Fidanza and the other FdI MEPs carry out in defense of Italy. There is just over a month left until the elections which, we hope, will also allow European policies to change direction, as our leader Giorgia Meloni has always hoped, to make them more attentive to the needs of citizens and our territories”.
