In Parma sport is history, tradition, culture, passion and emotion. This is why BKT, title sponsor of the BKT Series and the BKT United Rugby Championship, has decided to concentrate the matchday of Saturday 27 April of the Regular Season of both competitions by dedicating an activity never seen before in Italy to the city.
To celebrate the splendid moment that sporting Parma is experiencing, BKT will unite the fans of Parma and Zebre Parma at the Cittadella Park where, on Saturday 27 April from 10.30 to 18.30, they will be the protagonists of “Parma takes to the pitch”.
The objective of the BKT initiative, in fact, is to make the whole city experience a day of celebration by promoting a message of exchange between sport, inclusiveness and sociality. Enthusiasts and others will be able to have fun playing in the set up area and taking part in the numerous initiatives that the title sponsor of Serie BKT and BKT URC has reserved for them.
To get to the heart of Parma-Lecco and Zebre Parma-Glasgow Warriors and breathe in the pre-match atmosphere, BKT invited two of the most representative players in the history of the clubs for an autograph session and meetings with the fans. Alberto Di Chiara, legendary footballer of “Magico Parma”, and George Biagi, historic leader and captain of Zebre Parma, will be present in the BKT fan zone from 11.30 to 12.30 where they will sign and give BKT footballs to those present, as well as being available for the photos. Together with them the iconic bench branded for the occasion, already a protagonist last year in Bari, Cosenza and Frosinone and this season in Como, Reggio Emilia and Genoa.
The BKT event, created in collaboration with the Lega Nazionale Professionisti B and United Rugby Championship together with Havas Play, the network that focuses on sports marketing, fan engagement and other activities, and with the patronage of the Municipality of Parma does not stop here. During the interval of the two matches, at the Ennio Tardini Stadium there will be the “BKT Football Truck Challenge” which will involve two Parma fans in a speed race with the BKT Football Truck, the remote-controlled model which has now become famous as the official ball carrier of the BKT series. At the Lanfranchi Stadium, however, as many Zebre Parma fans will delight in a skill challenge.
In the two stadiums, in the pre-match, Alberto Di Chiara and George Biagi will receive the ovation of their supporters by doing a lap of the pitch accompanied by the applause of their fans. Furthermore, thousands of BKT gadgets will be delivered.
So, everything is ready for the day organized by BKT which will provide a special moment for all Parma and Zebre Parma supporters. The appointment with two of the most beloved players in the club’s history is set for 11.30 at Cittadella Park.
