“The “Masquerade Spring” event will transform our city into an open-air stage full of colours, sounds and joy. An opportunity, therefore, to experience a second carnival suitable for all students, to whom I would like to address an invitation to participate”.

“Spring in masks” READ MORE HERE will take place on 27 and 28 April, promising to offer moments of pure magic and fun, with a series of events that will take place in different points of the city: on 27 April, from 5.00 pm, on the Terrace San Giovanni to begin the procession that will parade along Corso Mazzini, up to Palazzo De Nobili and Villa Margherita; on April 28th, again starting from 5.00 pm, the meeting will be at Parco Gaslini and then continue on the Catanzaro seafront.
It will be a unique opportunity to experience the magic of a spring carnival, guided by the irreplaceable mask of Giangurgolo and accompanied by stilt walkers, the giant puppets of Varapodio, and the show of the flag-wavers of the historic 16th century group.
The event is designed to unite the community and offer everyone, young and old, the opportunity to actively participate and immerse themselves in local culture and tradition through the art of dressing up and partying.
We therefore invite all students not to miss this extraordinary celebration of colors and joy. Participate in large numbers and let yourself be carried away by the imagination and joy of “Primavera in Maschera”!
