“Happy that the city can host the event again”

“From 28 April to 5 May, the Convittiadi, the National Olympics of the National Boarding Schools and Italian Boarding Schools, will take place in our city. We intend to express our satisfaction with the realization of this important sporting event which saw a strong commitment on the part of the Calabria region, in particular the regional councilor of Fratelli d’Italia Antonio Montuoro as president of the Budget commission, in organizing an event of great social importance, which underlines how strong the union between sport and school is, also and above all in with a view to promoting the Calabrian and Catanzaro territories. This project was largely financed by the Education Department of the Calabria Region, with input from the vice-president Giuseppina Princi, and we are happy that the city of Catanzaro can host this event again this year. Sport has a strong educational role, especially for the younger generations, and we believe that Catanzaro will be able to play an important role in the transmission of these values, also recognized within the Italian Constitution”.
