CIVITAVECCHIA – The councilor for social services Deborah Zacchei announces that the municipal council has approved the authorization for the day dedicated to the “Caravan of Prevention”, a national itinerant program for the promotion of women’s health organized by Komen Italia.
The day will take place in Civitavecchia on Thursday 30 May 2024 from 7.45am to 4pm in Piazzale Guglielmotti 7, in the space in front of the entrance to the Pucci Hall.
«As always, this Administration intends to give space and actively support promotion, prevention and social information initiatives – explained Councilor Zacchei -, through interventions that can make it possible to reach the weakest sections of the population».
The Prevention Caravan offers an ever-widening public free activities to raise awareness and prevent the main gender-based oncological diseases. In particular, it is aimed at women who live in conditions of social and economic hardship and who therefore pay less attention to their health.
