Match officials appointed for Euro 2024.- Genoa Cricket and Football Club

The UEFA Referees Committee has announced the 18 referees, together with the assistants and video match officials, designated to referee the 51 matches of the international competition in Germany. Starting on June 14th. Match directors include Marco Guida and Daniele Orsato for Italy. The assistants are Filippo Meli, Giorgio Peretti, Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini. For VAR Massimiliano Irrati and Paolo Valeri.

The best of the best in the refereeing elite. In view of Euro 2024, the UEFA Referees Committee has announced the match officials who have been selected. Marco Guida will have Filippo Meli and Giorgio Peretti as assistants, while Daniele Orsato will be assisted by Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini.

The refereeing teams for each match will be made up of the referee, two assistants, fourth official, reserve stadium assistant and a team of three video match officials. During the tournament, referees, assistant referees and support referees will be based in Frankfurt, while video match officials will be based in Leipzig, where they will operate during matches from the International Broadcast Centre.

As happened at EURO 2020, thanks to the cooperation between UEFA and the South American Football Confederation CONMEBOL, an Argentine referee, Facundo Tello, will join, together with his two assistants, the group of European referees for the final phase of the championship.
