It is with great satisfaction that today, one year after the first historic victory on food stamps with ruling no. 1453 of the RG labor and social security disputes for the year 2021 issued by the court of Viterbo, we are once again receiving the positive outcome of two new appeals regarding meal vouchers with a heavy sentence for the ASL.
The court of Viterbo with sentences n. 44/2024 R.Gen. and no. 434/ 2024 R.Gen. reconfirms what has already been expressed previously, agreeing with us once again and thus underlining the respect of the right to meal vouchers for shift employees whose work hours exceed 6 hours and for all work shifts, morning, afternoon and night. (art. 29 of the Ccnl of 20.9.2001, supplementary to the Ccnl of the health sector of 7.4.1999 recalled, in light of art. 8 of Legislative Decree No. 66/2003).
The Nursind Viterbo secretariat continues to work day after day on this issue which has now become hot in our province and there will be numerous further appeals on which we are already working with our law firms.
On the employers’ side, the desire to spend public money to fuel disputes that today seriously would not have the sense of existing if only there were the desire to comply with the law and national collective bargaining seems to be well-established.
