The students of the food and wine classes (dining room, kitchen and pastry shop) had the opportunity and privilege of taking three training courses dedicated to the figure of the French chef who made the history of Piacenza catering. An objective that the institute has been pursuing together with Alma for four years now. The final act was a lively and competitive Cooking Quiz in which the kids challenged each other on the topics of the training courses they had attended. As a reward to the first three classified (there were around one hundred children competing) as many Summer Schools in Alma, which were awarded by the director of the Colorno school Andrea Sinigaglia and by the director of the Teresa Andena institute.

In recent weeks the students have prepared themselves through three courses-meetings on very important topics from a cultural and professional point of view. “French cuisine” with Chef Carlo Maria Ricci, “Apennines: local products and cuisine” with Chef Mario Marini and “Georges Cogny: a story to tell. Dialogue with chef Isa Mazzocchi” in a meeting between the starred chef from Bilegno and professor Fabio Amadei, also responsible for the Cogny library in Alma.
