Vittoria Puccini, busy filming Belcanto, the new Rai series directed by Carmine Elia, spoke about her career and private life in a long interview with Vanity Fair. She spoke of her love for Fabrizio Lucci who she will soon marry and of her relationship with her ex, Alessandro Preziosi, father of her daughter Elena.
For about ten years Vittoria Puccini has been engaged to Fabrizio Lucci, director of photography, and with him she has “a young love” because “we travel a lot for work and when we see each other again the emotions are those of two kids” she said. She wouldn’t forgive him for betrayal, or perhaps, “I can’t imagine myself without Fabrizio, moving away scares me to death”, she added, even though she was once the one who stumbled into temptation. “I only cheated once, and I felt terrible. I thought ‘what the f**k did I do,’ and I wouldn’t do it again,” she revealed. She will soon marry her partner: “We have to find the date” she declared, before talking about her desire to have another child. “I entertained the thought, but it seemed too much after the changes I had to go through. Then time passed, it could be a regret. If I went back, I would throw my heart over the obstacle and indulge the desire we had” concluded in this regard.
On her relationship with Alessandro Preziosi after the separation in 2010, Vittoria Puccini said that both have moved on. “It’s over and we’ve moved on” he explained before revealing that he had always shared with his daughter everything about the relationship with her ex: “We communicate a lot with her, we always have, even when we broke up we didn’t hide it from her or censored anything.” Behind this decision was the fear of “media trials”: it often happened that she did not recognize herself in the words that the press used to describe her. “She breathes us, she knows us well as we are inside the house: she has no reason to believe other “sources”.
