Quite the opposite: the tones and contents of the note reveal only a squalid and angry verbal aggression which, in a subtle way, also instigates physical violence. A clear example of how political confrontation between opposing parties should absolutely not be structured. The tones and contents, however, rather than offending the recipient, qualify the writer in the face of a public opinion that knows well the values ​​in the field and fully grasps the clash between a polite and elegant missive that Senator Occhiuto, former Mayor of Cosenza , worried about the fate of the city, addressed the current mayor and the hysterical response was provided through a majority city councilor.

In any case, it appears clear that, as well as being unacceptable and rude on a moral and institutional level, the response provided reveals an extreme weakness on the part of the writer, a distressing lack of arguments which inevitably lead to shifting the discussion towards brawling and brawling, renouncing to give citizens the image of an administration which, if it were strong in its actions and ideas, would have the courage to support them on the level of a normal and constructive dialectical comparison. The current Mayor must resign himself since the opinions expressed by Senator Occhiuto are those of the majority of the citizens of Cosenza, today disappointed, worried and now tired of still listening, halfway through the mandate, to the refrain of inherited financial problems, a screen now cloyingly used in every opportunity to justify the absence of managerial and planning virtuosity and the inability to implement, with a prospective vision, concrete actions to benefit the progress of the administered city.
