Two days dedicated to culture, those of 25 April he was born in first of May in Puglia. On the occasion of the anniversary of Liberation of Italy and of Workers Day the places of culture that pertain to Regional Directorate of the Museums of Puglia they will be open to the public.
From the Bari to the art places of Batto Toasts, Foggia And Lecce: museums, castles and archaeological parks will be open regularly according to the usual opening hours, as a sign of sharing the Ministry’s desire to make the precious cultural heritage of museums increasingly accessible on days when visitors have more free time.
Furthermore, for the second consecutive year, on April 25th goes hand in hand with the first Sunday of the month: on the day dedicated to the anniversary of the Liberation of Italy, in fact, one of the symbolic dates of national history, entry to places of culture will be free.
On May 1st, however, on the occasion of Labor Day, the “wonders of Puglia” will be open to visitors at the usual cost of the entrance ticket.
«The turnout recorded at Easter and Easter Monday – explains the delegate to the Puglia Regional Museums Directorate, Francesco Longobardi – suggests, with our immense pleasure, great numbers also for the next festive openings. I thank all the staff, who, as always, make it possible to visit our places of culture even on holidays.”
