Weather warning valid until midnight on April 24th in Emilia-Romagna. The critical issue concerns thunderstorms throughout the regional territory, with the exception of the Piacenza-Parma Apennines where even heavy snowfall is expected.
For Tuesday 23 April “conditions favorable to the development of strong thunderstorms are still forecast, with possible effects and associated damage, more likely in the central-eastern sector. Localized landslide phenomena, runoff phenomena on the slopes will still be possible, in particular in the areas affected by storms, and rapid rises in hydrometric levels in minor watercourses, rises in hydrometric levels in watercourses with possible exceeding of threshold 1 in valley sections of the Emilian basins.
From 00 on 23 April 2024 yellow alert for river floods in the provinces of PC, PR, RE, MO; landslides and floods in the minor courses in the provinces of PC, PR, RE, MO; thunderstorms in the provinces of BO, FE, RA, FC, RN”.
