Moto Armonico Danza and MeMA (Music Mediterranean Association) are pleased to announce the first edition of “The Dialogues of Contemporary Dance and Research”, an event created on the occasion of the International Dance Day promoted by the International Dance Council – Unesco. The event will take place in Trapani on 27, 28 and 29 April 2024.

“The focus of this first edition – states Patrizia Lo Sciuto, Sicilian dancer and choreographer, artistic director of the event – it is dance accessible to everyone, dance as a universal language that speaks directly to our humanity beyond barriers. Dance stands as a beacon of inclusion, it is a call to celebrate diversity and recognize the value of every individual.”

“With the first edition of “The dialogues of contemporary dance and research” MEMA and the “Moto Armonico Danza” Company – underlines the artistic director of Mema, Giovanni De Santis – they not only celebrate the “International Day of Dance” but also a commitment that for over thirty years has seen them united in the promotion of contemporary dance through the organization of masterclasses and seminars which have accompanied an intense production activity of staged shows both in Italy and abroad. By supporting this event, MEMA also demonstrates its vocation to look beyond the borders of the city and to extend its scope of action to artistic disciplines other than music”.
