Campania, governor De Luca: “We will hire all the social and health workers who are in the rankings”

The president visited the construction site for the construction of the Community House and the Territorial Operations Centre

The president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca today in Caivano, in the province of Naples, to visit the construction site where the Community House and the Territorial Operations Center are being built.

“Here in Caivano the construction site for a territorial operations center is open, and work will begin shortly on a community house and a community hospital. What we hear called for at a national level, such as local medicine, hospitals close to citizens and neighborhoods. Here we will have it, and it will be a turning point in terms of civilization and the services we offer in Caivano.

President De Luca then referred, as far as healthcare is concerned, to the other hospital in the district, that of Giugliano in Campania. “It will open by summer – he underlined – and it is a significant investment of 70 million euros“.

The governor announces new hires. “We will hire all the social and healthcare workers who are in the rankings and we will do everything we can within a context of legality and based on the resources available” – he said, responding to reporters – We have already stabilized thousands of health workers, nurses and doctors. I believe I can also reassure social and health workers, we will give them positive answers” – he added.

The governor did not want to answer reporters’ questions about the competitiveness of the lists for the European elections put forward by the Democratic Party, but he wanted to give some advice. “On questions of political politics – he has declared – I won’t say anything, it’s not my job, but to all those who want to present themselves as a progressive force I only say that politics begins from the land, from real people, from concrete problems and not from chatter; this is more tiring work, which requires time and commitment, but this is the real politics that changes reality and above all consciences. Everything else is a waste of time” – he concluded.
