The park is expanding Sughereta Of Pomezia. Times and extension total (in hectares). It will soon be 480 hectares large, the equivalent of 960 Serie A football fields, compared to the current 380, the equivalent of 380 Serie A football fields.

This is essentially what a press note released by the League of Pomezia reports. “As is known, the League of Pomezia writes – the political – administrative group in our city of Pomezia represents the second force of the municipal administration which was successful in the last electoral round in May
2023.

We are therefore the second force of the current political-administrative majority. Even if, in
this moment, we are not represented in the municipal council, we represent and have been
essential for the victory of the aforementioned elections.

We are therefore fully in the majority and despite the lack of representation in the municipal council, we vote and will always vote for all the proposed acts which are part of the electoral program and useful for our City of Pomezia, in compliance with legality and correct administrative actions.

Times and extent (in hectares)

With a view to this commitment we are proud to communicate to our citizens that after some
our initiatives, even prior to the May 2023 period.

It is very likely that in the next few days the transfer of approximately 99 hectares of territory including and adjacent to the Sughereta integral park will be granted to our municipality and our citizens, in compliance with the agreement on the construction of the “Minerva park”.

The last 10 years

As is known, this agreement has had many vicissitudes over the last 10 years, but our control action supported by the ownership which today, for more than a few years now, has been represented by a consortium where the majority is a fund that has taken over the judicial auction and contributed to this positive result.
Therefore, an important area will soon be acquired for our municipal heritage, an example of our pride and satisfaction like other initiatives that we are promoting and, as recently done also in the city council and beyond, avoiding a less than fortunate choice relating to the acquisition of a property, by the Municipality of Pomezia, particularly unsuitable for immediate use for primary and lower secondary schools, given its location.

A choice then, fortunately shared by the entire municipal majority, which we obviously thank.”
