On the occasion of the launch of the animated film in Italy Sony Pictures (distributed in Italy by Eagle Pictures) Garfield – A tasty mission, the entertainment marketing agency Wepromo He has made two strategic co-marketing projects with two brands belonging to distinct sectors, to make the experience of the film’s release even more engaging, in theaters from May 1st.

It’s about Haliborangepart of the Eurospital group and leader in multivitamin supplements, e Pizziuma pizza chain that spreads the Neapolitan tradition with more than 50 pizzerias spread across Italy.

With each of these realities one was created dedicated communication campaignthe result of constant research and selection work which for over 12 years has allowed Wepromo to be able to marry the right partners with the films, and thus create increasingly captivating co-marketing projects.

Garfield – A tasty mission: the plot

Garfield, the famous house cat who hates Mondays and loves lasagna, is about to experience a wild outdoor adventure. After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, scruffy street cat Vic, Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced to leave their comfortable lives to join Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.

Co-marketing communication campaigns

With Haliborangea line of vitamin D-based supplements specific for every need and age group, was launched – on the occasion of the fair Cosmofarma (Bologna, 19-21 April) – the communication campaign entitled “Growing up having fun with Haliborange and Garfield – A tasty mission” aimed at a large audience, which will involve pharmacies and parapharmacies throughout Italy, with personalized PoP materials, organization of dedicated promotional days, activation of an influencer marketing campaign, sending of sample boxes to hundreds of Italian families, digital coverage with advertising on social media and the creation of a dedicated commercial that will be shown on the main cinema circuits from 25 April to 8 May.

The entire communication campaign, starting on April 19th, will continue until mid-June.

Together with Pizziuman activity has been designed that you will see first the presence of the famous orange cat as ‘special guest’ at the Naples Comicon (25-28 April), the most anticipated comics festival of the year: here, in the Kids area, twice a day, at 12pm and 4pm, the Garfield mascot will entertain the younger audience with many activities.

Additionally, starting April 16, the 50 pizzerias distributed throughout Italy will be dressed by the creativity of the film – pizza boxes, placemats, hardbacks – e they will offer the very special Garfield Pizza with tomato, sprinkled with Grana Padano, fior di latte from Agerola and Fassona frankfurters on the menu, in standard and baby sizes.

Finally, from April 22, Garfield’s ‘tasty mission’ will be around Rome and Milan on buses with an advertising campaign created for the occasion.

The entire communication campaign, starting on April 16th, will continue until June 2nd.
