Bologna, 22 April 2024 – Having seen the drop in temperatures of the last days that brought the snow also in the Bolognese area and episodes of bad weather such as thunderstorms and hail. L’Municipal administration of Bolognataking into account the current climatic conditions and the possible negative repercussions on the health of the weakest sections of citizens, authorized the extension of the ignition of the heating systems of all types of buildings until April 26th included.
THE citizens they are still invited to limit switching on during the coldest hoursuntil a maximum of 6 hours per day and to not exceed a temperature of 19 degrees in environments.
Castel San Pietro
Also the Municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme issued an ordinance that allows heating systems powered by natural gas to be kept on until Thursday 25 April 2024 included.
The ordinance specifies that the daily duration of the ignition cannot exceed 6.5 hours daily between 5am and 11pm of each day and splitting the heating time into two or more sections is permitted.
