Genoa CFC, DUDE Design and Kappa create a jersey for the launch on Prime Video of the documentary ‘Genoa Anyway and Everywhere’

The Jersey, designed by DUDE Design (DUDE), is a visual homage to the bond between Genoa and the city of Genoa.

Inspired by the Title Treatment of the documentary, the design of the shirt recalls the sea waves that wash the coasts of Genoasymbol of the strength and vitality of the Genoa community, the mooring ropes and the curved and sharp lines of the Grifone.

Made with Kappa, the shirt was worn by the team in the warm-up of the match against Lazio, last April 19th, especially to celebrate the release of the documentary on Prime video that tells the essence, history and passion for the club.

The shots of the photographic campaign, taken by Glauco Canalis on film, capture the shirt in iconic places in the city of Genoa, which are also found in the documentary itself. Furthermore, Canalis portrayed footballers Mattia Bani, Djed Spence, Morten Frendrup, Giada Abate and Sara Tardini who wear the shirt near the historic Ferraris stadium.

The shirt can be purchased in Genoa Stores and on store.genoacfc.it in a limited edition. The documentary, produced by Emotion Network and DUDE Originalsis a tribute to 130 years of football history and the bond between the team and its city.

With the participation of figures such as Marco Rossi, Domenico Criscito, Diego Milito, Rodrigo Palacio, Goran Pandev and many other club legends, it explores the deeper meaning of being Genoans.

“We are very excited to be able to celebrate, through this final piece, a project that has involved various DUDE figures in recent months. The design of the product was developed with naturalness and simplicity, being part of a multi-channel work that captured us from the initial stages of the creation of the documentary”, comments Alessio Salatino, Design Director DUDE, in the note.

It’s about an integrated communication operation that involved the various DUDE unitsstarting from the development and co-production of the DUDE Originals documentary, passing through the organization of the premieres and screenings in theaters in Milan and Genoa with the events team, up to the creation of the poster and the design of the shirt created by the Design and finally with the production work for the shooting of the DUDE Milano team.
