The reinstatement

Despite the end of the sanction, the climate in the department is far from serene. The response from the local health authority

The general director of the ASL, Maurizio De Nuccio, expressed his desire to mediate and pacify the working environment, while criticizing the rumors that spread without the management being informed. “We are committed to maximum confrontation”, stated De Nuccio, underlining however the inappropriate use of the case as a sentencing tool despite the sentence having already been served.

Even the lawyer Gabriele Garzia, president of the disciplinary section of the ASL, defended the approach adopted, explaining that the measures taken were the most severe possible within the regulations in force, based on a thorough investigation which included documentary and testimonial evidence .
