Departed at 11.55 from Turin Porta Susa, arrived at Venaria Reale-Reggia at 12.11, as scheduled, the Trenitalia Regional Pop train with the Endless Trophy of the 107th Giro d’Italia on board, dressed for the occasion in pink livery. Upon arrival Martina Colombari, Trenitalia’s godmother for the journey of the Endless Trophy, handed it over to the regional director of Trenitalia Piedmont Luca Zuccalà.

Outside the Venaria Reale station, a special area has been set up available to travelers and fans of the Giro d’Italia, which will start on May 4th from Venaria and, crossing the entire peninsula, will end on May 26th in Rome, where the winner of the Endless Trophy will be proclaimed. From May 4thstarting day of the Giro d’Italia, the pink livery Pop train will circulate on the Piedmont lines.

This year too, Trenitalia will follow the Corsa Rosa “the hardest two-wheeler in the world in the most beautiful country in the world” as the Official Green Carrier of the Giro-E to underline the link that unites train travel with the protection and respect of environment. It will be present in all the villages of the Giro d’Italia with a stand at the start, one at the finish and one at the Giro-E Fun Village.
