SORSO – The new edition of “Primavera in Romangia”, organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with the Beata Vergine Noli me Tollere committee, the local associations, Cartoon Fest and Borgo degli ulivi – will open on Friday 19 April with Percorsi di Romangia and the Terra school project d’olio- “Evo oil. From the field to the table, created in collaboration with Frantoio Uggias, Associazione Citt dell’olio and Assolisa.
The program for the month of April will continue with musical and food and wine events, theatrical performances, book presentations, religious events linked to slow tourism routes, in the usual mix that unites and best represents the cultural, religious and tourist traditions of the city and the territory. The three-day Cartoon Fest is highly anticipated, the only stop in Sardinia, scheduled for 25, 27 and 28 April, which will be hosted in the welcoming facilities of Borgo degli Ulivi.
On Wednesday 1 May, as already announced, the May 1st music festival will take place in Sorso, with guests from the national music scene, local artists, DJ sets, entertainment, food & beverage stands and markets. On Thursday 9th we continue with the May of books in Sorso and the numerous initiatives organized by the Salvatore Farina municipal library, which also meet on 16th, 23rd and 30th May. On Sunday 5th, at the Baronial Palace, the magic of the Theatre, with the La Volpe Bianca art school and on Friday 24th the invitation will be again on the stage of the Baronial Palace for the dialect comedy with the Abbisumeu theater association and its 20 thousand steps in the wind.
On Sunday 12th, in Piazzale Cappuccini, the great protagonist will be the Moscato di Sorso-Sennori with Oro di Romangia – Shaker and art. Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th the eagerly awaited and always well attended celebrations in honor of the Blessed Virgin Noli Me Tollere, with the usual live television broadcast of the mass celebrated in the Capuchin church.
